Hi everyone,

I've decided to clean up my deviantart page and use it for my photography work only, rather than the combination of photo and fine art work I had on here before. Here's a bit about me to get this new page rolling!

My name is Colleen and I am a 21 year old Alberta photographer from St. Albert, currently living in Edmonton. I'd always loved photography and posed for my parent's cameras when I was a child. The idea of being a professional photographer grew on me as I began to document my travels and quiet moments around the house. I discovered an affinity for nostalgia and the love of looking back on images even as my memories have faded. As a fine artist I love story telling through my images and I found in my education at NAIT that I could combine my artistic strengths with my new found technical knowledge. I am influenced by the Baroque, Old Master paintings, film, children's books, nature, and the people around me.

I am so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and to everyone who has supported me.
